MAGGIE was adopted with WSR Molly in May of 2011 and returned this month. She was originally surrendered by the family of a man who passed away. She’s being returned for being a bully to the other sheltie in the house and for snipping at the owners when they scold her for it. With grandchildren visiting frequently, Maggie has become a liability. She has also let them know that they need to stay seated or she’s going to herd them around. Maggie is a pretty medium sized sable girl who is about 4 years old. Maggie needs a dominant home with a strong owner
where she can either be the only dog or maybe a dog of a large breed variety who stands up for themselves.

BOOZIE is a little sheltie mix who is almost 2 years old. He was originally surrendered because the owner didn’t have the resources to board him when he went to visit his ill brother. After many phone calls and WSR paying for Boozie’s complete vet bill, it was decided that Boozie should go back to his home but that we would have several volunteers who would provide support to his owner if the need arose. However, now his owner himself became hospitalized and it was decided that Boozie should come here to find a forever home who could commit to a playful young dog who needs a lot of attention for the next 12 years. Boozie gets along well with other dogs, would be good with children and hasn’t had a fenced in yard before, but has always been on a leash.
