2001 Success Stories -Part 2

SIERRA, sibling to Smokey Blue and Tucker, was adopted by a large family and will have many human and fur siblings to play with.
 

JAZZ went to a couple who
previously adopted a WSR sheltie

Jazz and Autumn will
still get to see each other.

 
AUTUMN the three legged girl went to the couple's daughter and son-in-law who live close.
       
                 
       
SMOKEY BLUE and TUCKER are both puppies that were surrendered to rescue because a breeder bred a litter without being able to find homes for them. They were happily adopted by a wonderful woman in northern Wisconsin owns her own business so the little ones can go to work with her, making it an ideal situation for this mischievous pair.
 
ELMO makes his home in MN with a couple who does some fostering for their area humane society and might get to keep the springer mix sister that he currently has for a foster sibling. Elmo is looking forward to a life with some structure in it and will be heading off to school to learn some manners.
 
FREDDY - Never made it to WSR. He has been kidnapped by the person who was transporting him to me from the Marathon Co HS. Her husband fell in love with
Freddy. They are at the reunion each year so maybe I'll get to see him in June;))
 
COPPER went home today. Here he is with his new cat brother Simon.
He went to a couple up north who was referred by a previous WSR adopter. They haven't had a dog in 15 years, so both they and Copper are very excited!!
                 
                 
 

BASH - Guess who was adopted today by a really nice couple who live in bothWisconsin and Michigan...... he's going to have a german shepherd namedSpuddy as a new sister. :)))))

According to his new family,
'Bash adjusted fast. Sebastian and Spuddie-Lou, the German Sheperd, are both indifferent to the change. Both more interested in food than each other after a good 'butt' sniff. (see below)

 
   
 
WHISKEY was adopted Nov. 17 by a great couple in Oshkosh who have been waiting quite a while for a sheltie. Whiskey walked with his mom in the
Green Bay Holiday parade and wouldn't let her go home without him :)
 
MAGIC - went home yesterday to a great home with a huge backyard and two kitties of his very own :)
 
Mali was adopted on Sunday by a lovely woman, her elderly mother and her
grown son who live in a nice quiet area in the country near Beaver Dam. Mali
will be very loved and the joy of their lives.

       
Mugsy went to a home that also adopted from Central Illinois Sheltie rescue. His name is now Mikey and he's doing great.
 

Laddie went to a nice couple and their cat and made himself right at home as
soon as we got there. He's looking forward to a toddler-free life ;)

 

 
Mokie went to a nice man and his mother with a nice fenced yard and a golden
retriever puppy next door to play with through the fence. He's enjoying his
very own home after being at WSR for over a year.
 
Dakota is a four year old sable boy that came in and has been adopted to a
home that already has WSR sheltie Dan. Dakota has two years of agility
training that Mary is going to continue with and we'll see his name in
lights soon ;)
 
AUSTIN was re-adopted by a great family whose two kids have just filled the hole in Austin's life. He's part of a great happy family with his very own little boy and girl.

       
EVAN: going to live with a nice woman and a whole group of cats just for himself :)
 
LADY (left) and SHELBY #2(right) were adopted by some folks who came looking for Shelby and fell in love with Lady too!
 
FANCY went to live in a home with two nice ladies who were converted to blue
lovers. :)
 
MISTY (now Missey) went to live at a great home with a sheltie that was adopted from the Central IL sheltie rescue.

       
JELLY the collie was placed through Collie Rescue. (WSR sponsors one collie at a time on the website, to help Collie Rescue!)
 
MADDIE went to live in a home with a nice lady and her sheltie Rex.
 
VINNIE was a return from a man who adopted three years ago and went into a nursing home. This is Vinnie. He's on his way to the great white north tomorrow. They are also taking Jazz along, who is going to live with Sammy, another WSR sheltie and Jazz will soon be the Agility Queen of
Minnesota who's only goal in life will be to kick border collie butt.. :))
 
JAZZ is going to a great home where she can focus all her energy and speed on beating the border collies in agility!!Jazz is going to be an agility wonder dog in MN and live with another WSR sheltie Sammy... She can make it across the yard without touching the ground, I swear :)
 
SHADOW went home today. .Shadow is a dark sable who is going to live with a nice couple up in the north woods at a resort area. They already have a very spoiled sheltie named Cassidy who is looking forward to his new sister.

       
SASHA is going home this afternoon to live with other WSR shelties Kylie and Rocky and sheltie Confetti. She's going to have a great home where Duke was fostered.
 
ROMY(left) and MEGAN/FARGO (right) are STAYING with the couple who weren't sure if
they could handle three dogs.
 
TINA went home yesterday to a couple in Watertown.
 
KRINGLE the collie mix was placed through collie rescue.
