GINGER (l) and TARA (r):
Tara and Ginger get to stay together and they are at home with a great couple and a huge fenced yard. I think Tara is a member of PETA because here, she thought it was hilarious to go around and let everyone out of their crate ;)

CROCKETT makes his home with a nice couple who live along the Fox River so Crockett's got a fenced yard that goes right to the water. He's having a blast with his new duck and squirrel friends. His owner bought him a bell for his collar to warn the wildlife that Crockett's on the move!

ROCKY
is on his way to Georgia. Thanks to Angie and Bill for answering the call for a Road Trip!

SHADOW has been adopted by a great couple with a sheltie named Cassie. He will spend alot of time traveling in a motorhome around the country.

RANGER:
went home to northern WI with a great woman who's mom has a sheltie and she wanted one too. He will get lots of attention and have another sheltie to play with occasionally.

RUSTY (TOMMY THE POMMY) makes his home with a nice family who's not had a dog before. He's brought lots of energy to their house and is having a blast with the children.

HANNAH:
Went to a great home with another sheltie named Spanky and is enjoying her new life. She even has a huge pool in her backyard for those hot sheltie summer days!

ANNIE:
This adorable little old girl makes her home with a nice couple and their spoiled sheltie Tillie. Tillie is only 2 years old, so Annie's job will be to teach Tillie some manners.

CHUMMER goes home with a nice lady and her sheltie D'Arcy (pronounced Darcy) in northern Wisconsin. Thanks to WSR sheltie Willie's mom for doing the home visit. Chum Chum and D'Arcy look like little bookends.

BERRY went to a home with previous WSR adopters and she now lives with her one-eyed sheltie brother Remmie.

SHELTON is en route to his new home in Minnesota via Appleton and Chippewa Falls. Thanks to Dean for providing transport help.

TULIP is on her way to a great home in the Milwaukee area with a woman who recently lost her mixed breed to a freak paralyzing illness. Tulip will spend her weekends up north at a place on a lake, with a bichon and a lab to play with.

TEDDY the COLLIE went to a great active home with three kids and a wheelchair in the house to get used to. They've had a collie before. He's just the right size for not having to bend over to pet him. He's looking forward to a more active life than the senior home he came from.

CONFETTI went to a great couple who previously had a german Shepherd that died of old age. They are enjoying the newest little princess of the house.
Her mom is a published poet and we are looking forward to a special poem about Confetti.

BRITTANY had been at WSR since 5/29/00. WSR will miss Brittany, the little tattle tale. With Brittany at her forever home, Lisa won't know who caused trouble in the other room...Brittany's new family were looking for one young and one old after losing their 16-yr old sheltie last fall.

COSMO (formerly Amos) went home to WSR Sheltie Brittany's household. She's teaching her baby brother all sorts of manners, and is a terrific babysitter.

JOSIE was an owner surrender from MN whom Dede (mom to Timmy and Tayte) took in for foster and then an adopter from the MN area came to meet Josie and fell in love. After careful evaluation between Dede and myself and a home visit by Dede, Josie now gets to stay in MN with her new owner. I hope to meet them both in person someday.

INDY went to a great home where he's already got lots of toys and his very own little girl to play with. They lost their sheltie to old age and Indy is a breath of fresh air in their house. In the summertime, he's going to be able to keep up his herding skills because they live on the water with lots of ducks and geese.

CALLIE, formerly ALLIE
went to a nice woman and
her son who's had shelties for years. She's going to have a nice quiet life, just like she wished for.

HOMER is 9 months old and a transfer from the Baltimore MD rescue specifically for Linda to adopt. He's show quality except for being a deaf white double merle and he's just a little clown. He has to be. He has some big shoes to fill with Linda recently losing Shadow her five year old deaf boy to serious health problems that he battled all his life. A HUGE thank you to the Baltimore rescue ladies for trusting my judgment with a fenceless adopter and for shipping him.

RUBY ANN, the 16 year old sheltie, went to her forever home in Duluth, MN. Her new family includes WSR adoptee Rocky, greyhound Sly and a cat. Thanks to Ginny for providing transport to Eau Claire.
CINDER went to a lovely couple who had a sheltie or a collie during most of their lives. She's got a great home with two people who are home most of the time or will take her with them.
LUCY got a great home with a nice gal and her parents. It's been awhile since they had a dog, but Lucy won them over and she now lives with
her very own two cats in a beautiful home.

REMIE is a one eyed sheltie (due to a farm accident) who is on his way to a great home in southern WI with a huge fenced yard and a nice mom and dad to keep him entertained :) He might soon have another WSR sheltie as a brother or sister as they are thinking about adopting their second one once Remmie
(short for Remmington) settles in.
