TODD
got adopted "by accident" when people came to meet Blackjack.
They definitely wanted Blackjack, but they thought that a good job
for
him would be to become Todd's personal trainer so Todd got to go
there
too! |
|
SHILOH
lives with a couple who had a WSR sheltie that passed away. He's going to get
to go camping and has horses and cats to herd around. |
|
BLACKJACK
got a cat for Christmas (see above)**
He and his kitty toy make their home with a couple who have had shelties before.
**Stuffed toy
cat - no real cats were harmed in making BJ's Christmas wish
come true. We wouldn't do that as we are an ANIMAL RESCUE ORGANIZATION!!!

|
JESSE
went to her new home where she will have a collie to chase around the yard and
rat terrier neighbors to play with. Jesse arrived home on 12/23, and there
were already presents under the tree for her. |
|
JAKE
makes his home with a great couple who had a senior sheltie that recently passed
away, leaving their current WSR sheltie without a buddy. Given how great
Jake got along with all the dogs here, he should be the perfect companion
for Toby. |

JOY
makes her home with a woman and two kitties. She is getting over some adjustment
issues, but is settling in and getting more comfortable. She's enjoying her
daily walks and the squirrels that hang out outside her new patio doors.
|
|
SPUNKY
makes his home with a great couple whose sheltie recently passed a way. Spunky
is happy to be the only dog in his household again and away from this chaos!
|
|
GILES
(l) and GILLIAN (r)
(previously Sam and Sara) get to stay together!
After having
a pretty rough life with a person who was incarcerated for
drugs, G&G are saying NO to drugs and make their home with
a couple who recently lost WSR sheltie Sebastian.
|
|
TIGGER
She makes her home thanks to a referral from another WSR adopter. Now Tigger
is WSR sheltie Louie's cousin. Her family had a golden retriever for a
long time. |

LADY
She came in as a little scared sheltie who just needed some confidence.. She
now makes her home with a PAIR of veterinarians! How much more can you ask
for?? She also has a sheltie sibling and several cats (who are probably bigger
than she is.) |
|
SHERMAN
makes his home with a great family who lives fairly close, so I might get to
see him once in a while. He's the only dog again and when I left their
house, I think he was pretty happy about his new status!
|
|
MISSY
the collie found a home with a woman who recently lost her senior collie and
'thought' she wanted to downsize to a sheltie, but when she saw Missy's
picture, she thought it might be a sign from God. Lucky for Missy who now
has a German Shepherd to play with instead of all the mini-collies at my
house. |
|
DIXIE
makes her home with another WSR senior sheltie named Cleo. She's still working
on housebreaking, but enjoying the attention! |

AJAY
was a return to WSR because of moving (without wanting to take him along). I
think he's now in his final home and it's pretty close to me, so he'll
be coming back for boarding and grooming so I can see him! He'll be an
only child and is looking forward to it. |
|
BUDDY
makes his home with a nice couple who recently lost their senior sheltie. After
meeting Buddy's new parents, I'm pretty sure that Buddy is going to be
the first bi-lingual WSR sheltie!! |
