Boasts 'n Brags

The road to rescue tells only half the story for the dogs. The other half unfolds as the dogs adjust to their forever homes. Some need extensive rehabilitation before they find their souls again, others bond instantly with their new moms and dads. Here are some of the former rescue dogs in their "happily ever after" phase of life:

CONGRATULATIONS TO CODA AND MARY!

Coda, an adoptee from WSR, is the new champion in the NADAC Agility 12" Pre-Elite Group!

On October 12-16, 2005, Coda and his mom Mary, competed in the 2005 NADAC Championships in St. Louis, MO.

They came home with a trophy bigger than Coda, and more ribbons than one could festoon over a tunnel, or weave through the poles (see picture at left).

In addition to Coda's individual success, his team also took first place in their height/category.

Rescue dogs ROCK!! (and weave and tunnel, too!)

Having your KitCake and snuggling, too!!

Sammy in agility competition.

As of February, 2002, Sammy has AKC novice agility and novice agility jumpers titles. He also has 2 legs of open agility and open agility jumpers, and has started work on NADAC titles.

Sammy is 8 years old. Although he is not very fast, he is very careful not to make mistakes. Mom Denise is very proud of him
(and so are we!)
