MouseMouse's Story

Mouse is a very young puppy who was surrendered to Wisconsin Sheltie Rescue by a breeder who wanted him to have a chance to live, but didn't have the money to fix him and didn't want to put him to sleep.

Mouse has PDA (Patent Ductus Arteriosus). This means that an artery that connects the left and right parts of the heart never closed like it should have and the blood isn't getting pumped properly through his little body. Read the rest of Mouse's story


LuckyLucky's Story

December 5, 2005 -- Got a call today from a vet clinic in Bonduel Wisconsin where they have a sheltie that was hit by a car. He is three years old. His pelvis is broken and both hips are out of joint. I will be picking him up tomorrow to bring him to my vet until about Monday when the surgery can be scheduled at the Fox Valley Animal Referral. Crew Who FlewFlying Shelties

Rosemarie shook her head and kept saying, "All this for a dog", as we drove from the Red Wing airport to Rosemount, MN to Dakota's new home.
