2004 Success Stories -Part 1

LUKE
makes his home with a woman who's never had a sheltie before, but she's ready for the challenge!

ERNIE
makes his home with a nice woman who is working on getting him a girlfriend as soon as she gets a fence up. Ernie made him self right at home with her cats and her house, but the windows were up too high for him to look out so she might have to do some remodelling to accomodate Ernie's needs. :))

KELLY and KERRY
got to stay together and went to their new home with a brand new fenced yard. After working to get Kerry's skin condition under control, they are settling in nicely and happy that they got to stay together.

BOOMER
makes his home with a great couple and their two big dogs. Just what Boom needs to romp around with and burn up some of his energy!

CALLIE (l) and TEDDY (r)
stayed together! They are in a home where the couple previously had two shelties, so they are accustomed to multiple dogs. Teddy and Callie have already met the grandchild and were a huge hit, using their house as a racetrack to play.

CLARENCE
makes his home with a nice woman, her sister and the household collie girl. He quickly made himself at home and is enjoying his retirement away from the hectic sheltieville at my house.

MASON
is the fourth sheltie for a couple who have three WSR shelties already. He was the personality and physical twin of one of their dogs, so they instantly were attracted to him. He's getting used to being an indoor dog and enjoying the life.

SUMMER
finally makes her home with a great man who wasn't so concerned about getting a purebred. He just wanted a nice companion dog and that's what he now has. She's happy to be away from Your Highness The Princess Daisy Mae. They were not friends ;))

SYDNEY
makes her home with a great family and three other sheltie playmates. She's getting more and more social and has some well behaved sheltie role models to learn from.

PANDA
(now renamed Oreo) makes his home with a great active family and their two other WSR shelties and a menagerie of cats.

CODY
Little Cody makes his home with a great active family and their Cocker Spaniel Pebbles. He's pretty close so he might be visiting me again if they go on vacation!!

. CLEO
the 12 year old girl makes her home with a wonderful lady and her 14 year old sheltie. She wanted a younger dog and at 12, Cleo fit the bill! I wish there were more people who appreciated the senior dogs. Once you have one, it's hard not to adopt another one. They have so much to tell us! Cleo and her sister Sadie have a great home to retire in together

TOBY
He is a 10 month old that was surrendered for being 'overprotective' of his owners. He now makes his home with more experienced sheltie owners who are previous WSR adopters and, more importantly, a well behaved sheltie that will teach him what's acceptable behavior and what's not.

LUCKY
This little ball of energy makes his home with a better behaved tri colored sheltie named Echo. He might be getting a chance to do some obedience soon if all goes well.

LACEY
makes her home with another sheltie girl. Lacey's new parents are a military couple who have always taken their shelties with them, so hopefully Lacey will be in the area for a while, but otherwise, she might get to do some traveling!

BECKA
came to us from a Missouri puppy mill. She is now the boss of two younger, goofy hunting dog types, and has her own throne in front of the living room TV. She has also become quite the daddy's girl in her new house, even though it was mommy who saw her picture on the website and couldn't resist.
Rescued by Minnesota Sheltie Rescue

BUDDY
makes his home with a nice couple who lost their senior sheltie in the past. He's got a great home with a great yard and the occasional grandchild to visit.
