2005 Success Stories -Part 3
Updated 12/6/2005
RONAN (l) and KODY (r)
were two 12 week old puppies that came from the Waupaca seizure case. They now live with previous WSR adopters and have great sheltie role models to grow up with!
Bonus for the new family - if their satellite dish ever conks out, just train Kody with the huge rabbit ears to sit on top of the TV... ;-)
JACK
was surrendered by an active family and makes his home with a great couple and their senior sheltie Mattie.
SCOOBY
found a home with an elderly keeshound to play with and might have a career as an over the road truck driving dog once he gets settled in...
GABBY
found a nice home with someone that WSR does business with and didn't realize they needed another dog until they kept seeing the newsletter get mailed each month (subliminal message?)

ABBY (l) & EMMA (r)
make their home with an old friend who couldn't wait to have shelties again.
ROSIE
makes her home with a couple who plans to give her a nice job to do (agility). She has a well behaved sheltie living with her to learn from.
CALLI
found a great home with my piano teacher from when I was little! She lives close so I'll see Calli on occasion for boarding. She has a beagle friend to play with.
BO
made the journey to New Mexico to live with folks that came to visit relatives in the area during the summer. Big thanks to Mary who gave Bo a ride when she went to the Agility Nationals with her WSR sheltie Coda in St. Louis.

MAYA
spent a holiday weekend at another WSR sheltie's house and decided to stay. She now lives with Cody and a cocker spaniel that is beginning to feel outnumbered.
SHAMROCK
got a great home with people who are absolutely sheltie people and would never think to tell Shammy otherwise. She has a couple cats to keep herself occupied.
BENNY
went to his new home in Minnesota with another WSR sheltie who was adopted four years ago. Benny spent the weekend camping with Vinnie and then they headed home to Duluth.

ALADDIN (l) and LADY (r)
went home together. They have a huge yard and beautiful house to romp around in. They have lots of other dogs in their neighborhood, and were already making themselves at home before I left them.

ELI
Eli's new home is close by so I'll probably get to see him when they are on vacation...hopefully. Eli will be a bilingual dog ;)

AL
Thanks to a referral from Callie and Teddy's parents, Al made his home with their relatives and is the king of his house with Callie and Teddy to play with once in a while as well as Grandma and Grandpa's sheltie too.

TEDDY & CALLIE
got to stay together, and they have already experienced a boat ride. They're having a blast in their new neighborhood.
SHELDON
makes his home with a familiar friend who saw him on the website and thought she recognized him. He's happy to be back with dogs that he knew in his early years.
