BELLA
makes her home with two other sheltie girls. She has a nice big fenced in yard where she can play with all of the stuffed toys that she has.
  ROCKY
makes his home with a nice senior sheltie girl to give him some manners lessons. They have a great couple and a huge fenced in yard!
  MANDY
is a senior girl that we got a call on from a very rescue friendly shelter in northern WI. She came to us with a urinary tract infection, not spayed, horrible teeth and an ACL injury to her back leg. Thankfully, I know a very sheltie-loving adopter who also happens to be a vet so we were off to Dr. Rocci who's going to take care of her problems and give her a nice retirement.
   SIMBA
has a terrific home with a couple of cats and a nice family who hasn't had a dog for 10 years. He lives nice and close so we might be seeing alot of Simba at different WSR events!
   AUGIE
beat out two other youngsters to get adopted to folks who then realized how much less work it is to adopt an older dog than a young whippersnapper. When I left Augie at his house, he was very busy laying out on the patio surveying his new yard for bunnies and squirrels.

AIDAN (was Snapple)
lives with another sheltie and a great couple who previously adopted a senior dog and had him for several years. Aidan is gaining confidence every day and working on housebreaking.
  MILO (was Rusty)
lives with WSR sheltie Maggie in a great house with a big yard and a swimming pool. He's already taken over the watchdog status and trying to engage Maggie in play, but she's having none of it and prefers her couch potato status.
  MURRAY
got a home after a long battle with demodex mange. He's better now and his new family is committed to continuing with his medical issues and behavior issues. He's already attending obedience classes and living with a 93 pound pit bull will probably help with his 'manners'.
  PHOEBE
makes her home with another rescue sheltie named Logan in MN. They have a big fenced in yard where they can romp and play all day.
  SOPHIE
was named after a special WSR sheltie who passed away the day before Sophie was rescued. Sophie is a puppy who was rescued from an Amish Dog Auction and now has a great home as a loved member of a family with a keeshond friend to play with and will have a lifetime of love instead of
a lifetime of living in a rabbit cage reproducing.....

LEVI
He is a puppy who was rescued from an Amish Dog Auction. Levi now has a great home as a loved member of a family with a few feline friends and WSR sheltie cousins to play with and will have a lifetime of love instead of a lifetime of living in a rabbit cage reproducing..... According to his mom, he will feel the grass under his feet, not wire, and a pillow under his head, not dirt.
  MOSES
He is a puppy who was rescued from an Amish Dog Auction. Moses now has a great home as a loved member of a family with a sheltie brother named Kobe to play with and will have a lifetime of love instead of a lifetime of living in a rabbit cage reproducing.....
  CHELSEA
is a 7 year old sable female who was surrendered to an area rescue friendly humane society because 'she does not like kids'. On the surrender form, the ages of the 'kids' are listed as 18 and 18. Hmmmm.... Chelsea makes her home with two teachers who have all summer off and two cats who welcome having a new toy to play with.
  CHARLIE
is now the official Boy Toy for two sheltie sisters named Jasmine and Madison. They previously had a WSR sheltie who passed away and wanted to have another rescue dog. They came to meet Charlie and he schmoozed his way into their hearts!
  DARBY(formerly Boo)
was surrendered by a family who didn't take the time and effort to train him and then gave up on him when he started barking like the two toy breeds that he lived with. He found a great home where he will be the center of attention until I can talk his mom into getting him a playmate.

BUDDY
makes his home with a nice sheltie girl named Dixie who recently lost her best friend Kyle. Although Buddy has a lot more to say than Kyle, Dixie is getting used to him, including listening to his "I'm so lonesome" howl at 5:30 a.m..
  SHELBY
is an adorable 2 year old girl who was rescued by a police officer from a house with 70 cats!!! He knew that the humane society in the town was not rescue friendly, so he got the couple to surrender Shelby to him so she could come here instead. THANK YOU! She makes her home with a great family and a sassy little sheltie sister.
  PATRICK
has a great home in the city with a fenced yard and a grandson to play with him whenever his little heart desires...
  PEPPER
was returned to WSR last month and now makes his home with a performance person who is used to dealing with a little feisty guy like Pepper.
  NORB
makes his home with a great couple and their other dogs. He's nearby so I'll get him back when they're on vacation I hope.

On another note, the day after Norb went to his new home, I was contacted by a breeder from Waupaca...
