2009 Success Stories -Part 1
Updated 4/29/2009

LUCY
is the sweet tri colored girl puppy from the Thorpe Dog Auction. She has a nice big fenced in yard and two other shelties to play with as well as a gramma hound mix dog to teach her some manner
  CHLOE
is the cute blue merle puppy girl from the Thorpe Dog Auction. She has some big shoes to fill as her family recently lost Sophie. They haven't had a puppy in the house for a long time, but assured me that they were looking forward to the challenge.
  MOLLIE(l) & MACK(r)
get to stay together! They came in together as 5 year old siblings and now have a new home in IL with a nice couple who likes to adopt pairs of dogs that want to stay together. Their last pair was a mother/daughter from the Indiana rescue.
  MOLLY
makes her home with a very nice man who will be able to give her the attention she needs. He's retired and Molly will have the run of the house and her fenced in yard.

CODY
has a terrific home thanks to a WSR referral who has Cody's mother. He passed his trial period getting along with their current sheltie Cowboy and now there are two sheltie boys in the house.
  KATE
makes her home with a great guy and his senior sheltie girl. She'll be getting lots of attention and exercise and lives close enough where I'll get to see her once in a while.
  EBAY
is now affectionately nicknamed "Ebaby" and has a great home with a nice high fenced in yard so she won't be taking any more field trips away from home on her own. She has two other WSR shelties and a couple of cats to keep her company.
  CODY
has a great home in Oshkosh where his new workout partner is WSR Simba. He's going to be going on lots of walks and running around the yard to burn off some of that fat he gained from his previous home's lack of exercise and diet control.
  PATCHES
is once again the king of his little household. He thought he was here too, but everyone let him know that it wasn't so. He gets to go to dog parks and lots of walks.

LEO
gets to travel a lot in his new home. His dad lives in Minnesota, but comes to Wisconsin to visit his mother (a previous WSR adopter) every three weeks. Sometimes Leo will get to vacation with Grandma in Wisconsin if Dad is busy at work.

TEX
makes his home with former WSR adopters who lost their sheltie to senior issues. Tex had an airplane ride to Virginia with Midwest Air in order to meet his new mom and dad.

  TERRI
was a little peanut girl that came in as a stray from the Sheboygan area. She now makes her home with another little petite sheltie named Penny.
  HAMISH (formerly JoJo)
is a little sweet guy that came in because people were moving so they left him in the apartment for the next tenant. He now has a great home with former WSR adopters who still have Gillian the sheltie. She didn't make the trip to Wisconsin from Michigan so she'll be surprised when her new boy toy arrives.
  KASEY
has a great home with another WSR sheltie and a cockapoodle. He's lucky to have a nice retirement home with some playmates.

JUNO
found a home with previous MNSR adopters. She's having a blast with her two sheltie brothers and finally getting the hang of housebreaking!
  BANDIT
has a great home with a nice yard and an Aussie girlfriend that wasn't too keen about him at first, but hopefully will grow to love this sweet boy.
  GOOGLE
makes her home with a great couple who has multiple dogs, including several WSR shelties. This 'pack' will make Google feel very at home, since she's always lived with multiple dogs.
  HENRY (was Logan)
is the spunky blue boy that was surrendered to a WSR adopter at a soccer game. He now has a great home as a 'city dog' in Chicago. He has his own personal dog walker while his mom is at work and is having a great time enjoying the big city.
  DAKOTA
is on his way to Arizona at the time of this posting. Chris, from northern Wisconsin is a smart one and goes to AZ for the winter. She saw his picture and we made arrangements for him to be a snowbird too.
